How edward sylvan tried to scam team abt sportsline
How it started in 2021
Edward Sylvan and Ikkee Battle met Harry Unflath, Head of ABT Sports Marketing, during the first ever ExtremeE event in Saudi Arabia in April 2021. At that time, ABT was an offical racing team in the ExtremeE competition and segi.tv was offical sponsor of the Chip Ganassi team. Sycamore had just signed the ExtremeE sponsorshiop with Chip Ganassi in December 2020. Ed used the sponsoring as a platform to make new contacts and met with Abt in Monaco in May 2021. He even posted a video on his personal twitter account.
Company registration
In May 2021, Ed was in default of payment to Chip Ganassi for the ExtremeE sponsorship, however he registered a company called
Still in default with payments to Chip Ganassi ($17,400,00), Mr. Sylvan registered a company called SEGI ABT RACING LLC on May 3, 2021.
Director of this company is another company called 1114953 BC Ltd, owned by Edward Sylvan.

Media attention
Edward and his team forwarded the inforamtion about a segi.tv owned Formula E racing team to the media and it was published in numerous magazines.
An article published in "The Race" magazine confonfirmed that Edward Sylvan started negotiations with Abt while he was in a multi million default of payment to CGR. He lied to both - Abt sportsline and Chip Ganassi.
In August 2021, Abt stepped out of the conversations with Edward Sylvan and segi.tv as rumors popped up in the ExtremeE community that segi.tv did not pay Chip Ganassi the agreed fee.
